It's caught, not cought or catched

This mistake is an interesting one. I was hurry while typing and I typed catched as the past tense of catch. I should not make such a silly mistake, because of two reasons. One is, I watch cricket and it teaches us the past tense of catch is caught. Also, I have practiced this word a lot, when I was a kid and was in school. Just now I realized why I did this mistake. It's because of the word cached. I use it a lot because of my profession. Then I tried to correct catched, but what typed was cought. Looks like it's a typo and I corrected this with the help of spelling suggester of my browser.

Analyzed as Analysed

I frequently commit this spelling mistake. Analyzed is the correct spelling as per US English. Most of the time, I write it as Analysed. This is wrong in US English. However this is the correct spelling in UK English. So, if you are communicating in US English, then you need to follow the first one. Analyzing is also for Analysing in US English.

Yacht or Yatch?

Today, while working on a workout on the  Elevate app, I came across a word and I spelled it as Yatch. And it was wrong, obviously. I might have learned the correct spelling of Yacht when I was a kid. But over the years, I had remembered it as Yatch.  I guess it happened because I did not knew the correct pronunciation of the word. Instead of pronouncing it as  jɒt , I had alway pronounced it as  j atʃ , similar to 'match'.

Litre/Liter or Litter?

Litre/liter and Litter sounds so similar. But today I typed litter, when I wanted to type liter. Then I realised that I made some mistake and rectified it. Litter means trash, while liter/litre is a metric unit of capacity.
